Message from the President of MAFTO
Dear members and supporters of the MidAtlantic Food Trade Organization,
As we enter 2024, I am reminded of the powerful impact that our organization has had on our community and the food industry as a whole. Our mission to improve the quality of lives through charity, education, scholarships, social events, and networking has been a driving force behind all that we do.
Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to advance and promote the food, marketing industry, and culture. We have provided scholarships to deserving students, hosted educational events and workshops, and organized social gatherings that have brought our community together.
But our work is far from over. There are still those in our community who struggle to access healthy food, who lack access to education and job opportunities, and who are in need of support. That is why we continue to strive towards a future where everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive.
As an organization, we are committed to making a positive impact in our community. We will continue to work with local food banks, schools, and other organizations to ensure that those in need have access to healthy food and nutrition education. We will also continue to provide scholarships and educational opportunities to help our members advance in their careers.
But we cannot do this alone. We need the support of our members, partners, and the wider community to make a real difference. I urge each and every one of you to get involved, whether it be through volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word about the important work that we do.
Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those around us. Let us continue to work towards a brighter future for all, where everyone has access to the resources they need to live healthy, fulfilling lives.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our mission.
Sincerely,
Jen Sparks
President, MidAtlantic Food Trade Organization
