FSMA 204 Food Traceability: What MAFTO Members Need to Know Now
Food traceability is now a reality in the supply chain, as major retailers and distributors are introducing new requirements for tracking and exchanging lot codes and related data for all food shipments. Additionally, the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act Section 204 (FMSA 204) requires producers, distributors and retailers of thousands of products to collect and retain key data element records that the FDA can access on-demand. This webinar will help you understand the changing landscape of food traceability and what MAFTO members need to do NOW to get traceability-ready. Derek Hannum is the Chief Customer Officer for ReposiTrak, a leading provider of supply chain technology for the food industry. With more than 20 years’ experience leading sales and marketing teams for solution providers to the food and retail industries, Derek is currently leading ReposiTrak’s efforts to enable food traceability in the U.S. Topics include: Who’s asking for traceability now and what traceability data do they need for every shipment? As a supplier, what can you do NOW in order to get traceability-ready in time? Looking ahead: Can you do traceability for ALL of your customers?
